Prof. Dr. Hakkı Oğuz Kazancıoğlu was born in Trabzon in 1980. He graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 2004. In 2005, he began his doctorate in the Department of Oral, Dental, and Maxillofacial Diseases and Surgery. In 2010, he completed his doctorate with a thesis titled “The Effect of the MDR-1 C3435 Gene on Gum Growth in Patients Using Cyclosporine.” In 2011, he began working as an assistant professor at Bezmialem Foundation University. He received his associate professorship title in 2013. In the same year, he opened the MOS Dental ORAL AND DENTAL HEALTH CLINIC, a maxillofacial surgery and implantology clinic. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hakkı Oğuz Kazancıoğlu’s areas of interest include biomaterials, basic oral implantology, implant applications in cancerous and defective patients, advanced surgical techniques in oral implantology (sinus lifting, single and double cortical autogenous graft applications, etc.), and immediate implant applications. He has over 100 articles published in national and international journals. He has participated in national and international meetings and numerous conferences on implantology. He is a member of the Turkish Dental Association and the Association of Oral, Dental, and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is fluent in English. He is married and has two children.
